Kick off the 2026 Mural Fest with an evening of creativity, community, and celebration in the heart of Downtown Corpus Christi. The Community Kick-Off officially launches this year’s festival by bringing together artists, residents, visitors, and local organizations for an interactive experience centered around public art and community connection.
Be part of something bigger as we come together to celebrate art, community, and the continued transformation of Downtown. This special kick-off event invites guests of all ages to leave their mark and experience the creative energy of Mural Fest from day one.

Launching a Week of Public Art
The Community Kick-Off marks the beginning of a multi-day celebration of creativity, placemaking, and public art throughout Downtown Corpus Christi. Throughout the festival, artists will transform walls into large-scale works of art while the community engages through workshops, paint days, unveilings, and special events.
Guests are encouraged to return throughout the week to watch murals evolve in real time and attend additional Mural Fest events leading up to the official mural dedications during First Friday ArtWalk.
