Do you have a passion for storytelling, branding, and community engagement? Downtown Corpus Christi is looking for a Communications & Public Relations Coordinator to help us share the unique experiences, culture, and momentum of downtown with the world.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Craft and amplify compelling stories through media, digital platforms, and public relations.
  • Strengthen and elevate the Downtown Corpus Christi brand.
  • Facilitate clear communication to support economic development and existing businesses throughout the development process.
  • Engage with community partners, businesses, and volunteers to foster collaboration.
  • Support events, sponsorships, and creative initiatives that showcase our vibrant downtown.

The Clean Team

DMD utilizes a nine-member, customer friendly Clean Team led by District Operations Manager, Randy Burczyk, who work seven days a week picking up litter, removing graffiti, sweeping streets and sidewalks, and painting street fixtures. Additionally, each Clean Team member helps visitors with questions and directions.
