The Texas Oyster Round Up is an annual celebration of Texas Gulf Coast culture, cuisine, and conservation — a one-of-a-kind experience that brings together oyster lovers, coastal stewards, and culinary artisans in the heart of Corpus Christi.

Hosted at WaterStreet Restaurants in Downtown Corpus Christi, this vibrant event showcases the best of Texas oysters through live cooking, tastings, music, and educational programming. Designed as both a community festival and a conservation initiative, the 4th Annual Texas Oyster Round Up highlights the essential role oysters play in sustaining healthy marine ecosystems along the Gulf Coast.

What to Expect
Gulf-to-Table Cuisine: Local chefs and restaurants serve up a variety of oyster dishes — raw, grilled, fried, and more — each highlighting the freshness and flavor of responsibly harvested Texas oysters.

Live Music & Local Vendors: The event features a full lineup of live entertainment, vendors, and family-friendly activities that make it a true coastal block party.

Marine Conservation & Education: The Texas Surf Conservancy hosts this event in partnership with organizations including the Port of Corpus Christi, PMAR, and Texas A&M Corpus Christi’s Harte Research Institute, and CCA Texas. The Round Up promotes oyster mariculture, reef restoration, sustainable seafood, and public awareness through hands-on exhibits and outreach.

Whether you’re an oyster enthusiast, a foodie, a conservationist, or just looking for a fun weekend in downtown Corpus Christi, the Texas Oyster Round Up offers a uniquely local experience that celebrates all things oysters!
