Poetry is ancient storytelling! Over 30 years ago, these dramatic monologues of hidden biblical figures began to take shape, but it was not yet time for their stories to be told. In 2015, “she: robed and wordless” was published as a Tom Lombardo Poetry Selection (Press 53). In 2021, five of these stories were set to music by one of America’s most active living composers. Now in 2025, the time to celebrate has come. Join us to hear Chavah’s Daughters Speak – in word, in music and in song! Featuring Dr. Caitlin Beare, clarinet
Dr. Jessica Spafford, soprano, and pianist/host, Paul Erickson with a special Q&A with Sister Lou Ella Hickman of the
Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament.

These free 50-minute music and arts events are at 7 PM on the First Friday of every month in partnership with Corpus Christi Art Walk. Join us each month for a holy respite, a cultivation of beatuty, and a proclamation that creativity honors the Creator. Reception to follow at Executive House.
