The pumpkin patch is held to raise awareness and funds for our Children’s Literacy Initiative. Our Children’s Literacy Initiative has brought Project Transformation to Corpus Christi (https://projecttransformation.org/rio-texas/) which directly impacts children, college students, churches, and the community. We also would like to be a Dolly Parton Imagination Library partner. In addition to these larger partnerships, we work year-round with our partner schools- Vinson Morris Children’s Center, TG Allen Elementary, and Metro E by providing Reading Buddies, Free Book Fairs, Little Free Libraries, and Bilingual Community Story Walks.
