First Friday Concert: Variations on America
Friday, July 4 | 7:00 PM
Join us for a festive evening of patriotic music in celebration of Independence Day! The concert features works by Aaron Copland, Samuel Barber, William Bergsma, George Gershwin, Kevin McKee, and Charles Ives, culminating in a patriotic hymn sing-along.
Enjoy the powerful sounds of First’s mighty Angerstein Pipe Organ, played by Paul Erickson, with special guest Dr. Javier Salinas on trumpet.
Stay after the concert for a balcony bayfront reception and take in the Mayor’s Big Bang Fireworks show lighting up the night sky!
