K Space Contemporary invites the community to attend the dedication and unveiling of a collaborative textile installation created through its Senior Outreach Program on Wednesday, May 20, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at the YWCA of Corpus Christi.

Launched in September, K Space's Senior Outreach Program deploys professional art instructors to local senior recreation and living facilities to provide free, high-quality art instruction. This semester, participating seniors received hands-on crochet lessons at no cost. Over the course of the program, each participant contributed individual crocheted squares that were collectively assembled into a series of decorative sun shades, which will be permanently installed in the YWCA's outdoor courtyard for public enjoyment.
The dedication event will celebrate the skill, creativity, and dedication of the seniors who made this project possible. Light snacks and beverages will be provided, and all are welcome to attend.
