🎄✨ Mayor’s Sparkling Christmas Lights Contest Powered by AEP Foundation

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Downtown Corpus Christi!

Get ready to experience the magic of the holidays as downtown businesses and property owners transform their storefronts into sparkling holiday displays for the Mayor’s Sparkling Christmas Lights Contest Powered by AEP Foundation!

Join us on Friday, December 4, from 6–10 PM (and later!) during First Friday ArtWalk presented by H-E-B to stroll through downtown, admire the festive decorations, and discover the creativity and holiday spirit lighting up our community. Dozens of participating businesses will compete for cash prizes across five categories, with special guest judges selecting the winners and runners-up.

🎄 You Get a Vote, Too! From December 4 through December 31, the public can vote for their favorite holiday display to help crown the People’s Choice Award winner! Make plans to explore the displays, pick your favorite, and help your favorite business take home the title.

✨ Make a Night of It at First Friday ArtWalk! While you're downtown, enjoy pop-up vendors, food trucks, live music, art exhibitions, seasonal specials, and holiday festivities hosted in two historic downtown parks and inside participating downtown businesses. Explore local shops, support small businesses, and soak up the holiday cheer around every corner.
