Join us on October 2, 2026 at 7:00pm in the CCFUMC Sanctuary for our First Friday concert series. One Sound is a non-profit community chamber music initiative that seeks to enrich the cultural fabric of the Coastal Bend through regularly accessible, high-quality performances by local musicians. In collaboration with Corpus Christi ArtWalk, One Sound presents monthly concerts on the first Friday of every month at First United Methodist Church. These performances showcase local artists, create educational opportunities for students, and foster meaningful relationships between the church and the broader Corpus Christi community. The initiative is built upon a single idea: music is a public good that should be available to everyone, regardless of age, background, or prior experience with the arts. This month, you’ll hear pieces from renowned composers—Franz Schubert, Amy Beach, and John Kember—brought to life by local musicians, Dr. Dino Mulic and Dr. Sangmi Lim. The concert series is produced by Gideon Perkins.
