Silents Synced is a one-of-a-kind cinematic experience that reimagines the magic of classic silent films by pairing them with modern alternative soundtracks. For this special Corpus Christi event, audiences will enjoy two re-envisioned Buster Keaton films:
Baloonatic paired with the atmospheric sounds of Amon Tobin
Sherlock Jr. reimagined through the music of R.E.M.
The evening also features a live artist talk and Q&A with Josh Frank, the creator of Silents Synced, who will share his process for blending visual storytelling from the 1920s with contemporary sound design.
