The Texas Bluesmen with Special Guest Tom “Bones” Malone
The Ritz Spotlight Series presents The Texas Bluesmen – A Tribute to Jake & Elwood Blues on Friday, October 9, from 7:00–9:00 PM at Bar Under the Sun (BUS) in downtown Corpus Christi.
This special evening will feature Tom “Bones” Malone, an original member of The Blues Brothers band who performed alongside John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd on Saturday Night Live and appeared in the iconic 1980 film The Blues Brothers. Malone’s legendary career also includes decades with the CBS Orchestra on Late Show with David Letterman.
Adding to the fun, the Bluesmobile will be on-site, giving guests and ArtWalk visitors the opportunity to see the iconic-style car up close and take photos.
Expect a high-energy night filled with the music, humor, and spirit of The Blues Brothers as The Ritz wraps up its 2026 Spotlight Series.
