Born and raised in Mississippi and now based in Denver, Graham Carraway is a multidisciplinary artist working in both fine art and public art. His practice includes large-scale murals, sculpture, and studio work that blends Americana, regional storytelling, and bold, printmaking-inspired textures.

Whether painting a wall or building a sculptural installation, Graham’s work draws from local history, vintage design, and cultural iconography to celebrate the character of each place. With roots in sign painting and a deep respect for craftsmanship, his work honors both where he comes from and the communities he creates for.

Apollo Americana celebrates the legacy of the Apollo 3500 GT convertible while blending in a broader visual tribute to Texas heritage and Americana culture. Inspired by the car’s deep connection to the building owners—Mr. George Finley, a founder in the Apollo’s production, and Mr. Steve Shook, a lifelong car enthusiast—the design features the Apollo prominently as a symbol of innovation, craftsmanship, and local pride.

Surrounding it is a layered collage of western motifs and vintage textures, nodding to the spirit of Texas and the traditions of classic Americana. The piece bridges automotive history with regional identity, honoring both the site’s legacy and the cultural backdrop of Corpus Christi.
