Windows to the Coastal Bend is a vibrant stained glass–style mural celebrating the icons, culture, and coastal beauty of the region. Designed by Emily Quintanilla, the mural was brought to life with the help of community volunteers through K Space Contemporary's Mural Arts Program, who assisted in painting and installation over a period of several weeks. This collaborative effort reflects the shared pride and spirit of the Coastal Bend and serves as a reminder of the importance of community.

K Space Contemporary is a nonprofit art organization in Downtown Corpus Christi that is dedicated to promoting contemporary art through exhibitions, education, and community engagement.

Since 2008, the K Space Mural Arts Program has completed over 30 murals across the city, all created collaboratively with local youth and community members. These public art projects aim to beautify neighborhoods, foster creativity, and strengthen community pride through shared artistic experiences.
