Weather
- DMD staff will monitor weather conditions throughout the week of First Friday ArtWalk.
- Any updates or alerts will be sent to vendors and the public via the email address on file and CCDMD social media channels.
- In the event of adverse or inclement weather resulting in cancellation prior to implementation of the Traffic Control Plan, vendor fees will be rolled over to the following month’s First Friday ArtWalk.
- Once the Traffic Control Plan is implemented, First Friday ArtWalk is considered active, and vendor fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- CCDMD may delay, suspend, or cancel the event due to severe weather (lightning, high winds, flooding, etc.)
- If lightning is detected within 10 miles, guests and vendors will be asked to take cover indoors for up to 30 minutes. If conditions improve, the event will resume as planned. If lightning continues, we will end the event early for everyone’s safety. No refunds or credits will be issued.
Vendor Cancellation Policy
- All vendor fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds or rollovers will be issued for cancellations or no-shows. Vendor fees directly contribute to the operating costs of First Friday ArtWalk, including event production, staffing, and logistics.
- The only exception to this policy applies if First Friday ArtWalk is fully canceled prior to the implementation of the Traffic Control Plan due to weather or an act of God; in such cases, further guidance will be provided.
