Downtown Corpus Christi Announces the Launch of a New Website

Corpus Christi, Texas – The Corpus Christi Downtown Management District (CCDMD) launched our new website today. The website provides clarity on the organizational work of the CCDMD and the services we provide and streamlines information about Downtown Corpus Christi’s diverse offerings. The website was a six month long project, is mobile and web-friendly and is ADA compliant. The goal of the new website is to become a one-stop resource for visitors, locals, downtown business and property owners, and potential investors. New website highlights include:
- A downtown business directory and interactive maps
- An interactive community event calendar that allows businesses and organizations to submit their events
- Listed Downtown projects in development
- (Still in development) an ArtWalk portal that has an interactive map of vendors, a vendor profile, and more.
The website was designed and built by Geocentric, a web design firm that specializes in designing websites for downtown districts that focus on economic development and destination marketing. They have over 75 clients, including Downtown Houston, Downtown Fort Worth, and Sawyer Yards. “This new website is part of our initiative to be a one-stop resource for the community,” says CCDMD Executive Director, Alyssa B. Mason. “CCDMD and the services we provide is a platform small business owners and Downtown stakeholders can use to their advantage. This website is another aspect of that we’re proud to be able to offer.”
