In the twenty-five years since its installation, It Is I has become a landmark on the Corpus Christi bayfront. It has been the backdrop for tens of thousands of photos of residents and visitors alike. May it continue to remind Christians everywhere of the One who can calm our fears and give us hope. And above all, may It Is I remind us who live and work in this Sparkling City by the Sea to remember the singular importance of our calling: to become the Body of Christ.
