The mural title signifies the variety in life and diverse cultural background of Corpus Christi. Just like the birds that call it home, many people from around the world come to enjoy the beauty of the Texas coastline. The piece features flora and fauna native to the region to create this stunning collage teeming with life and movement. The vines you see are a signature in all of Ivan's work as they represent the time and energy amongst all living beings. The thorns represent the obstacles and hardships which mold us into who we eventually are to become. Birds included are a Cara Cara, a pelican, a Kingfisher, and a small songbird.
